Requesting a new extension¶
Registering your first extension can be confusing. By following these steps, we hope that the process is simplified.
Select which Region you are in:

Visit the Ticketing System
Go to the Helpdesk.

Open a New Ticket
In the top right corner, click the blue button labeled "Open a New Ticket".

Select the correct Help Topic
From the "Help Topic" dropdown menu, change the selection from "General Inquiry" to "NEW EXTENSION REQUEST – AMERICAS".
From the "Help Topic" dropdown menu, change the selection from "General Inquiry" to "NEW EXTENSION REQUEST – EUROPE".
From the "Help Topic" dropdown menu, change the selection from "General Inquiry" to "NEW EXTENSION REQUEST – ASIA/PAC".

Fill out the form

Please complete all required fields (marked with a red asterisk).

If you have a DMR ID you can have it added in so it will allow us to display where you are located in the phonebook and allow DMRID Dialing.
If you do not have a DMR ID that is fine as it is not required to have an extension.
You will also need to attach an official copy of your FCC Amateur Radio License
- Note: Reference copies or screenshots (e.g. from ULS) are not accepted.
- If you are not an Amateur Radio License holder in the USA, you will need to provide your official radio license as appropriate to your country.

Once all information has been submitted it is usually processed within 48 hrs. You will have an email with your credentials sent to you.
